82 days

Only 82 days till we finally meet Our new baby. I am getting more and more excited each day.I can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl.We have name ideas for both.I think that a girl name is harder for some reason -maybe because we already have a girl.We are for sure on our boy name though.

Stephen bought me a milk cow on Mother's day and I have been getting up early to milk her every morning and as a result have felt extra tired. I love the early morning wakeups but, naps always follow them. I am starting to feel overwhelmed with all the farm chores but, I am managing and soon I will get a little break.I asm going to put stephen to work when the baby is born!

I am starting to plan food for when the baby is born I am going to experiment with some freezer meals and snacks.I found a neat recipe for frozen burritos and I am going to make egg rolls too.

Its funny how you can tell what a baby's personality is going to be like from the womb.For example Taylor kicked me in the stomach all the time then she still kicks me now. No really, I can already tell that this little one is going to have a bigger appetite than Taylor-he or she is already more demanding than she ever was and more tolerant too.

I used to think that cravings weren't really real after my other pregnancy. But, I found out this time that isn't true.I have terrible cravings..worse than you can imagine. If someone mentions Chukie Cheese in front of me I crave pizza for several days. If there is a BBQ where I am at I have to have whatever meat they are serving. This little one is certainly a meat eater..sorry all you vegetarians.I even pass McDonalds and start craving chicken Sandwiches.i once craved Hamburgers with bacon and cheese for several days.Believe me these cravings are intense that one ended with me in tears.."I need a hamburger".

The cool thing is that I actually am able to eat meat and enjoy it. With Taylor meat just about made me lose it.So, no mom we are never becoming vegetarians ..ever.

I feel like shouting from the rooftops

I have been wanting to blog about something really special lately. I've been harboring a secret.But, with my busy Taylor the toddler I can hardly go near the computer unless she is taking a nap.Right now she is laying on the bed nest to me and I am hearing the sweet sound of  toddler snores.

I think that it is time for the secret to come out.....we are having another baby..and I am just bursting.I am getting really excited. We are half way through week 11 and we are almost to the point of hearing that sweet baby heartbeart. I am feeling selfish right now and I don't think that I could decide if I wanted a boy or a girl -I want both. That is kind of impossible though because I don't think we could have twins.I am just trying to say that I will be happy with either gender.We are not going to find out this time-we want to be surprised.

Morning sickness has been my friend since week 6 or 7 but, as long as I keep food in my stomach I know that we won't become that close of friends.

I can't wait until August when we meet this boy or girl.

What's happening with us?

We are very excited to announce that our dog had puppies on December 30th. They are black and yellow labs and very cute. The one pictured above is a yellow female. They are AKC and yes, we are selling them.You can email me at berg.kay84@yahoo.com if you are interested

Taylor loves the puppies. She has been teething this whole week and I don't think that I have ever seen her in such a bad mood.I think that she is recovering though because right now she is sleeping and she looks like a little angel.

We got a new sow yesterday-a duroc named Ruby. We want to raise pigs on a higher level . Stephen is working at the dairy but, I don't think that we are going to open our own anytime soon.

I think that any more announcements will have to wait until later ....to be continued.
